FLUX 3 is Black Forest Labs’ next image model, built on the company’s first multimodal foundation architecture. It generates and edits images across a wide range of styles, aspect ratios, and resolutions, and renders accurate multilingual text inside the image. The same architecture also powers FLUX 3 Video, which generates video with native audio.

FLUX 3 is marked Soon on Krea. Black Forest Labs is rolling it out in early access, starting with video and audio, and image generation is slated to follow. In the meantime you can create with FLUX.2 in the Krea Image tool today and switch to FLUX 3 from the model selector once it lands.

Black Forest Labs announced FLUX 3 on July 23, 2026 and opened an early access phase. FLUX 3 Video launched on Krea on August 4, 2026, while FLUX 3 Image access is still planned to follow.

Self-Flow is Black Forest Labs’ training approach for FLUX 3. It aligns multimodal generation and understanding inside the same model, so scaling up compute and data improves both the quality of what FLUX 3 generates and how well it understands the world it is generating.
