Kling 4.0 is the newest frontier video model from Kuaishou’s Kling team, released on 14 October 2026. It generates single clips of 3 to 30 seconds from a text prompt, a start frame, start and end frames, or tagged image and video references.

Yes. Kling 4.0 is live in Krea Video. Pick Kling 4.0 from the model selector, write a prompt or add frames and references, and generate. Kling 3.0 and Kling 2.5 stay available alongside it.

Compared with Kling 3.0, Kling 4.0 doubles the single-clip length to 30 seconds, adds tagged image and video references in the prompt, and keeps start and end frame animation. Kling’s guide also describes longer prompts of up to 8,000 tokens and two-channel stereo audio.

Between 3 and 30 seconds, chosen per second. The default is 5 seconds. Longer clips cost more compute, so start short while you dial in the prompt.

Krea renders Kling 4.0 at 720p or 1080p, in 16:9, 9:16, 1:1, and 21:9. Image-to-video follows the shape of your start frame.

Yes. Kling 4.0 generates sound with the picture, including dialogue, ambience, and effects. Describe the sound in the prompt, put spoken lines in quotes, and add “no subtitles” or “no background music” to keep those out.

Add up to 10 reference images and up to 5 reference videos (30 seconds combined), then address them in the prompt as @Image1, @Image2, @Video1 and so on. Say what each one controls, for example “@Image1 is the product, keep the label unchanged.”

Yes. Add a start frame to animate a still, or a start and an end frame to lock how the shot begins and ends. An end frame needs a start frame and cannot be combined with references in the same generation.

Describe what the viewer should see, label what each reference controls, and write the action in timed beats such as “0–3s … 3–6s …”. Add “no subtitles” and “no background music” if you don’t want them. The Kling 4 prompt guide has the full formula and copy-ready examples.
